I am an independent artist based in London, England.
I have worked freelance in the animation industry since 2004, specialising in 2D character animation and sound for animation.
I have been hired to work on a wide range of projects including animated short films, commercials, children's TV, idents, art installations, music videos, websites, games and apps, for companies including Animade, Beakus, MacLehose Press, Mr & Mrs, Mummu, Nosy Crow, Partizan, Passion Pictures, Picasso Pictures, Sherbet, Studio AKA, Tandem Films, Trunk Animation and Warner Music.
I also occasionally teach animation as a visiting lecturer on the BA Animation course at Kingston University.
I am experienced in Flash, After Effects, Photoshop and traditional hand drawn animation.
In 2009, after working commercially for 5 years, I went back to college to study on the Animation MA course at The Royal College of Art, in order to focus on and develop my personal work. I spent one term of my 2nd year on an exchange programme studying Visual Design in Japan at Kyoto City University of Arts.
I am passionate about drawing; In 2010 while at the Royal College I was awarded the Tom Bendhem Prize for drawing from the figure. I am also particularly interested in working with found sound. I also love to experiment with combining different media, both traditional and digital.
